I love the pastel medium, I found it to be one of the most difficult mediums to master. I suppose the challenge keeps me connected with it but also the fabulous pure colors do as well. After creating many many layers of pastels, you finally feel a sense of “painting.” You can move it around like a child fingerpainting. It is very freeing!
