Sierra Passion Series
My husband works in the high technology industry and experiences daily stress at his job, as many of us do. Our family travels and visits the mountains quite often and when ever possible. During every visit, I watch my husband transform as soon as he smells the mountain air, sees the old growth trees and touches the dirt ground. I am captivated by the power that nature has on him. The mountains seem to lure all who want a release or an escape, and grant them a gift to self heal.
My paintings are intimate glimpses into the Sierra Mountains. The mountains are classic and wise, they have stories to tell. Their beauty is fragile yet powerful. I find them compelling and inspiring with no boundaries.
